The rules of working together.
These terms apply to the use of the website and the arrangement of voyages by Lago al Mare. The terms of the cruise line or tour operator additionally apply to the voyage itself.
1. Role
Lago al Mare arranges cruises and travel services from cruise lines, tour operators, rail and air carriers. Your contractual partner for the voyage is the respective operator; you receive its travel terms before booking.
2. Request and quote
Requests are non-binding and free. Quotes are valid until the stated date; prices and availability may change until booking.
3. Booking and payment
The booking is concluded with your written confirmation of the quote and our booking confirmation. Prices in CHF per person including the stated taxes. Deposit and balance as per the quote. The Federal Act on Package Travel (PRG) applies.
4. Customer money protection
Payments for package travel are protected against insolvency under Art. 18 PRG. You receive the security certificate with the name and contact of the guarantor together with the booking confirmation.
5. Changes and cancellation
According to the operator's terms named in the quote. We recommend cancellation insurance.
6. Casino on board
The casino is a ship amenity of the cruise line and not part of the arranged service. Entry, opening, games, limits and currency are set by the cruise line under the law of the flag state. Lago al Mare guarantees neither entry nor availability, offers no gambling and accepts no stakes. Entry from 18.
7. Documents and health
Valid travel documents, visas and entry or health regulations are your responsibility. We inform you to the best of our knowledge.
8. Website
Forms must not be misused and third-party data must not be submitted without authority. Content and photos are protected by copyright.
9. Liability
Lago al Mare is liable for diligent arrangement. The operator is liable for the travel services under the PRG and its terms.
10. Law and jurisdiction
Swiss law. Place of jurisdiction Zurich, as far as legally permitted. Ombudsman: Ombudsman of the Swiss Travel Industry.
